Uploading your own images and footage

You have access to millions of free media files right from within AIVO. You can also upload your own images and footage. Go to the Media tab and click “Uploads” to upload new files or to access previously uploaded files. Be sure to read our image and footage upload requirements and ideal dimensions to avoid errors.

Using images from my source text

AIVO can automatically extract relevant images from your source text to be added to your video. Be sure you have permission to use those images in your video.

-

Photo requirements

You can upload image files for use in your videos. These files must meet the following requirements:

  • Maximum file size: 50 MB
  • Minimum width: 360px (480px recommended)
  • Minimum height: 360px (480px recommended)

Footage requirements

You can upload video files for use as footage in your videos. These files must meet the following requirements:

  • File types: mp4, mov, gif
  • Maximum duration: 20 seconds
  • Maximum file size: 50 MB
  • Minimum resolution: 480px by 480px
  • Frame rate: 24-30fps (AIVO does not currently support 60fps)
  • Preferred MP4 video codec: H.264
  • Preferred MP4 audio codec: AAC

While AIVO supports other codecs, we recommend H.264 and AAC. AIVO does not support alpha channels, green screens/chromakey or masks.

If your video is in an unsupported format, we recommend converting it to MP4 using an online conversion tool first. If your video is too large, we suggest trimming or resizing it to be under 20 seconds and under 50 MB. Click here for ideal dimensions.
